Lenten Devotional

ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent and a time for us to slow down and reflect upon both God’s grace and our human limitations. “From dust we have come and to dust we shall return.” We will naturally continue to grieve (and likely fight against) the inevitability of death, but there is freedom in realizing that God is God and we are not. The Lenten journey is therefore an opportunity to rest in God’s grace and then begin wondering, “What will we do with this one life that we’ve been given?” We hope you will join us (virtually) on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:00PM (pst) for our Ash Wednesday service.
