The First Pres Spiritual Growth Ministry Team is excited to announce that this year’s Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 11 from 11am to 1pm following worship. You’re invited to our annual Fall event where we celebrate our life together as a faith community, welcome our neighbors to share in the fun, enjoy a time of special activities for kids and adults, and raise money to support the Rebecca Hall Fund. That fund, founded in memory of our late Children’s Ministry Director, Rebecca Hall, supports ministry activities for children and youth.
Our Harvest Festival Bible verse is Psalm 67:6, “Our God has blessed the earth with a wonderful harvest!” (CEV). You’re not going to want to miss out on all the fun. For kids, there will be pumpkin painting, face painting, an amazing petting zoo, a puppy party, carnival games, and arts and crafts. For adults, there is our Food Garden where they can find coffee, donuts, and a tasty lunch. We’ll also have a Harvest Festival themed photo area where individual, family, or group photos can be taken.
The BIG NEWS this year is that there are NO WRISTBANDS or FOOD TICKETS to purchase. Just sign up and come and enjoy the fun and food. You will have an opportunity to make a suggested donation to the event when you register if you want to.
