First Presbyterian Church of Santa Monica is committed to supporting the children of our church and their families through ongoing faith-based education and outreach. We welcome children of all ages to our worship services and offer a full program of activities.
With God’s guidance, parents, children, and leaders work together through the joys and challenges of parenthood to strengthen the family unit and the church body. Our goal is to create a Christian spiritual environment that:
- Fosters children’s growth in Christian faith and commitment
- Builds connections between families, faith and community
- Creates an open, inviting, honest, and non-judgmental group of people to support one another
- Nurtures the creativity, worth, contribution, and spirituality of each child
- Supports meaningful relationships with each other and our children
- Celebrates and encourages honest expression and dialogue
